Makeup Artiste and Beauty Specialist Cheryl Huggins shares her business journey at Successful Mums
Having started this challenging journey as a small business owner, I created my Makeup and Beauty blog as a diary to document my life within the Beauty and Cosmetic Industry.I began building my Bespoke Beauty and Makeup business, after many years of training in London, Paris with experience and training with Luxury Brands that delivered exceptional techniques, and products.I always knew that I needed a mentor to provide professional guidance and expertise to acquire the correct balance of skills and financial acumen, needed to produce a successful small business or to return to work after being a mother and carer for many years.Having met Jane Knight on a taster session for 'Successful Mums' in Kent, I enrolled on the 6 week course, not sure where this would lead. The course brought together like minded women who were starting their business, or holding onto an idea that was on the cusp of blooming into an established business. During the course we discussed the importance of social media, developing strategic marketing tools and creating the all important business plan together.Jane Knight is a highly experienced and professional business women, who delivers her weekly classes across the UK. Her creative mentoring style, would challenge the presence and platforms of the popular TED Talks. The daily classes included entrepreneurial guest speakers, who would share in-depth experiences, that most business and career start-ups would find invaluable.I am eternally grateful for the ability to harness my drive and ambition at Successful Mums, allowing me to create a solid work life balance, to support my family emotionally and financially. With ongoing 1 to 1 mentoring and business guidance, you can personally create the life of dreams and many mums have been very successful since embarking on this course.I would truly like to take this time to thank Jane Knight for the opportunity, to find the correct path and journey suitable for me and my family. Daily I am reading new makeup and beauty material, providing makeup for fashion and photographic sessions, testing skincare brands, providing makeovers for beautiful brides, and ensuring that glamour is available for all.I am proud to create incredible makeovers and relaxing natural spa treatments for women of all ages, skin tones with the correct products, that will deliver incredible results for their age, skin type or skin condition.
