Congratulations on your appointment as Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue

Edward Enninful will be taking over from British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman who has held the position with grace and style, delivering beauty fashion at the helm cultivating a wonderful legacy for over 25 years.

Hailing from Ghana Edward Enninful has created an illustrious career, his diligence and outspoken artistry has been one, that I have followed with awe for many years. Now hugely influential in fashion, music and styling, with a wealth of experience, knowledge and creative talent, he truly deserves to appointed at the helm of the worlds most Iconic fashion bible British Vogue. 

For the 1st time in Vogue magazine's 100 year history, this man has become the 11th Editor. His work is synonymous with outstanding passion, education and knowledge for the Industry, previously with his contributions to British Fashion Council, American and Italian Vogue as an contributor. Being nominated and awarded an OBE in 2016 by Queen Elizabeth II for his diversity in Fashion and named Fashion Creator of the year by The British Fashion council, he has been most deserving in his appointment and will no doubt carry this prestigious privilege to new heights.

Currently the Creative and Fashion Director for W Magazine since 2011, his career began in earnest when he stepped up followed his desire and enrolled at the age of 18 at Goldsmiths University of London, in 1991 he was hired as the Fashion Director for the Uber trendy I D magazine and the rest is Fashion History.

I would personally like to take this opportunity to celebrate his success, and look forward to his striking influence, with his dedication, wit and incredible vision on this historical landmark with our Iconic UK fashion bible British Vogue.
