 What is the Networking Cupper ?

Networking Cupper helps people and businesses based in Bromley to grow. Through networking events, activities and support, they hold regular meeting and actively encourage members to create friendships and help each other in setting up and growing their business.

At Networking Cupper, a warm welcome is extended to all self-employed people from start ups to established businesses. Professional recognition and support is available from Virtual PA's, Travel Agents to Social Media and Recruitment managers,all working together to give a helping hand to those who are at the early stages of running small or medium-sized businesses, (SMEs) to connect with each other with mentoring, tutorials, and breakfast meetings.

Having started my business with the initial support from Successful Mum's Start up Business Course  I have taken part in the Cupper Expo and have seen the amazing growth, the expertise and dedication of the team of people who host the Business event for over 30 companies, within the local area of Bromley. 

I was able to showcase my Makeup Masterclass, that will be arriving in June 2019 and was able to offer the visitors to my stand, a full complimentary  makeover with advice. I  was delighted to offer a makeover competition run by Family Grapevine including the invitation to join the classes that commence in Beauty Studio. 

The offer extended to  invaluable information on foundation color swatches, courtesy of MAC COSMETICS, and wonderful hand massages from the luxurious Jo Malone store in the Glades shopping Centre.

How it started

Helen Freeman of Fitness Rate started the Networking Cupper in 2011, in Costa Coffee, Bromley Market Square. She wanted it to be an informal way for local businesses to meet each other and discuss business topics over a cuppa. The original meetings were monthly on a Friday between 9.30-11.30am, with many local businesses attending.

Over the next couple of years, the Networking Cupper grew steadily with new businesses joining and social media playing a huge part in helping to spread the word about us. All those who attended meetings automatically became members.

The Glades in Bromley hosted the 2019 Exhibition on the Lower Mall, Central Atrium on the 29th and 30th March. I was invited to join the business seminar in the Glades Bromley this year and to showcase my teaching and training sessions for all things makeup and beauty for personal and business, this would include showing the client how to apply a natural look to the eyes with simple step by step techniques.

Next month look out for the V.I.P registration dates, as I am launching my Makeup Masterclass to teach all the best tips and tricks to achieve the best looks for you, all ages and skin tones, for friends, family, teens and business women in Bromley and surrounding areas.

MY Best Buys for Summer

In times of high stress, and the need for relaxation must people will love a wonderful firm body massage, I love delivering aromatherapy and holistic massages to my clients, and friends. Remember to take time for self-care as it is important to try and ensure their is a natural balance to the mind and body.  Oil delivers amazing moisture to the skin and works well to revive aching muscles and joints after a heavy workout, gym or general overexertion. Currently I'm using the Tisserand Muscle Ease Massage And Body Oil and highly recommend this blend all my clients. It is light and easy to use for massage, and a great texture, the aroma is amazing. Blended with beautiful organic essential oils of spicy Ginger, refreshing Lemongrass and toning Rosemary to ease and melt away body fatigue.

Another one of my favourite hero facial oils for summer, is the Elemis Superfood Facial Oil, this lush oil immediately hydrates my skin which is prone to dryness. I cannot live without the feeling of oil on my skin, and those that suffer from sensitivities, and irritation will never understand how they lived without this oil, let me know if you have tried it! Anti-oxidant and omega-rich Broccoli, Flax Seed and Daikon Radish, creates a healthy, radiance, rich in omegas to strengthen and anti-oxidants to feed the skin, ensuring maximum skin health LOVE LOVE this oil, it worth its weight in gold ..when you see the results! 
Use a few drops prior to moisturizer,nor more than a 5p piece additionally as a elixir treatment. The texture is lightweight, containing highly concentrated plant-based super foods that deeply nourish and hydrates, whilst keeping the skin super moist for the summer months ahead.

SUMMER MAKEUP  

Keeping the skin natural and free from full finish, like to use the of NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer, it glides on easily and leaves the skin dewy, radiant and natural for all skin tones and comes in 12 shades gives a good brightness under the eyes. Simply create beautiful looks by using light concealer on lids, top lip and don't forget to lightly  contour the eyes, nose and above the browline !

Again use once or twice a week depending on your skin type and skin condition. The addition of Oatmeal and Aloe Vera helps to soothe and calm irritated skin, as a hay fever sufferer my skin can be easily irritated and very sensitive,  this is also a great summer mask for most skin types but especially for those who are prone to breakouts, teens and men  Enjoy this easy to use pore cleansing and skin purifying mask.

How to Have FAB Brows
Signature Definition Brows

This technique is a unique signature procedure which beautifully sculpts your eyebrows into their perfect shape, enhancing your facial features naturally. The treatment involves a combination of short procedures including tinting, waxing and final tweezing with gentle massaging to soothe the area with a natural oil. This method is slightly longer and intensive process than the usual brow treatment. Your brows will be measured, then gently tly brushed to remove loose hairs, any residue or makeup grease.
To complete the final stages, you will then be colour matched, tinted, then waxed, and tweezed. Your Signature brow can last for 3 to 4 weeks depending on your skin type, hair growth and your beauty routine.

WHY DO I NEED MY BROWS SHAPED?

Tinting the brows is a great option for anyone with fair eyebrows, sparse, thin or those who prefer a darker richer more balanced look. With guidance from your therapist they will be able to properly assess and create a defined natural look to your brows suitable for your face shape, and hair pattern. 
Using both waxing and gentle tweezing will create a bespoke shape with your preferences as a guide. The final stage uses tweezing to remove any stray hairs from above or below the browline that may affect the overall shape.

Brow fashion went from over plucked and thinly drawn on in the 20's by the Hollywood Makeup artists, using pencils, waxes and powders.

Elizabeth Taylor who portrayed the stunning queen of the Nile in Movie classic 'Antony and Cleopatra' will always be remembered for her immaculate and fabulous brows. 
Fast forward to the 70's - 80's we saw beauty queens either tweezer happy thin or natural  but brows were still a big feature especially if you look at..Twiggy, Kate Moss, Pamela Anderson. 90's Brow icons included Brooke Shields, Madonna and Cindy Crawford all gave great full natural brows which were my favourite looks.
Brows today are on trend today and with the use of social media and hashtags we can choose to style our brows in so many ways.There are many great specialist brands, take a look at the brow stylists today who are famed for their naturally thicker brow shape inlcuding Cara Delevigne, Kylie Jenner to the ultimate Queen of the Brow Kim Kardashian whose favourite brow guru is Anastasia Beverley Hills with her stylish brow products to whip those brows into shape.

As a responsible user of tinting products, I regularly update with manufacturers safety recommendations to ensure that my treatments adhere to guidelines. 
This is to protect the safety of my customers.

Recent changes to EU legislation and manufacturer’s guidelines of use for tinting  means that I am are unable to offer tinting services unless the following, patch tests have taken place within a minimum of 24 hours for brows and 48 hours for lashes.
